Guy Blews was born and raised in London, England. After studying Philosophy at University, he followed a career in music,
writing and design.
Blews left England in the late 90s and moved to Malibu, California where he began to widen his expertise in the field of clothes design. He saw his designs used around the world in the Uma Thurman Lancome advertising campaign, and in a multitude of magazines on celebrities such as Kirsten Dunst, Brittany Murphy, Pamela Anderson, Courtney Cox, Angelica Houston, Paula Abdul, Joanna Krupa, Rachel Griffiths, Jakki Degg, Tara Reid and Jennifer Love Hewitt (on the cover of Rolling Stone).
Over the past few years, Guy Blews has been seen on 20/20, ABC and CNN in the USA giving his expert advice and opinions on fashion, as well as having been the lifestyle and fashion presenter for 'All The Gear No Idea' in the UK and the Fashion Commentator for eTalk on CTV in Canada.
In 2006, Guy Blews and Juliana Paes teamed up to design a collection inspired by life. VIDA is a multi-dimensional and multi-functional collection that demonstrates how sensuality can be incorporated into practicality by being as simple as possible. Using Juliana as a muse, Guy has used a single fabric that works to show off the best assets of the female form whilst also allowing for versatility and comfort in all areas of the collection.
